aux Wax honors traditional methods and recipes for producing sealing wax while adjusting the recipe format to create flexible sealing wax that will not break and can be used in a glue gun for ease of use. This glue gun sealing wax will produce 10-12 of a 3/4″ round wax seals (results will vary depending on the thickness of the seals). All the flexible sealing wax sticks fit a standard low temp glue gun (.44″). These are not to be melted with a flame. These glue gun sealing wax sticks are meant for use in a low temp glue gun only. Usage of a candle or flame will damage this product.
Traditional wax is breakable. These sticks will produce 12-14 of a 3/4″ round seals (results will vary depending on the thickness of the seals). These sticks come in two formats:
Scottish Style Mura Sealing Wax Sticks with wick which can be lit like a candle and dripped prior to stamping. Each wax stick will make approximately 7 – 10 seals when using a 3/4″ stamper. Each wax stick is about 3.25″ long (10 cm). We do not suggest this sealing wax is used on the exterior of envelopes as it can break. Colors may differ slightly between each batch.
Traditional Scottish Glue Gun Style Sealing Wax fits into a standard low temp glue gun or melted with a flame. This wax is easy to use in a glue gun and won’t burn your fingers or leave soot in your wax seals. We do not suggest this wax is used on the exterior of envelopes as it can break. As all colors are hand poured using time honored traditions, colors may differ slightly between batches.
Bottling Wax can be used to dip glass or plastic bottles, other packaging items such as wooden boxes or used as a security tampering deterrent. This wax is flexible and won’t crack or chip. The bottling wax has a beautiful high gloss finish and comes in 35 Colors+. The wax will be shipped to you in 1lbs blocks, which you can melt for dipping.
